Maggie closely partners with purpose-driven leaders and organizations at a variety of stages and scales to guide and drive transformative strategic visioning, organizational development, and brand positioning projects. With a deep commitment to strengthening the impact of organizations who are making a meaningful difference in the world, Maggie has worked in fields such as science, nature, health, visual arts, architecture, public space, higher education, and more.

Maggie has spent the last six years as an independent consultant, which has allowed her to work closely with leadership, staff, and Boards on seminal strategic planning and organizational development projects from start to finish. Before starting her independent practice, Maggie was Managing Director of the consulting firm, LaPlaca Cohen, where she spent seven years developing and leading a strategy and innovation practice for the creative and cultural worlds. Earlier in her career, Maggie helped drive content and brand strategy for the architecture and design firm, Rockwell Group; and was involved in the art, architecture, and design world in a variety of ways including journalism, teaching, curating, and advocating.

Maggie gives keynotes and moderates panels at conferences, summits, and Board and leadership meetings across the country on purpose-driven organizational transformation and visioning and the future of culture, including at SXSW in Austin and the Northside Festival in Brooklyn.

Maggie received a M.A. in the History of Art, Architecture, and Archaeology from The Institute of Fine Arts at NYU, and a B.A. in Literature and Fine Arts from Amherst College.
